Meet Our Staff
Our Hill Country Detox in Texas is comprised of local medical staff, whom are available during each client stay at our detox center.
Dr. Frederic J. Wilson is a licensed MD specializing in psychiatry. He is board-certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and his specializations include dual diagnosis with co-occurring substance abuse and mental disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and behavioral problems. He received his undergraduate degree from California Lutheran University and attended medical school at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine. His general psychiatry residency was completed with the UT Southwestern Program in Austin. He has experience at a number of facilities including Seton Shoal Creek, the University of Texas Mental Health Center, Austin State Hospital, Dell Children’s Medical Center, and more.
As Medical Director of Nova Recovery Center, Dr. Wilson sees clients on a regular basis. Dr. Wilson utilizes a multidimensional approach to the mental health needs of Nova clients, incorporating biological, psychological, and social aspects into addiction treatment.

Michelle Roberts, LVN
Michelle Roberts is an experienced LVN, whom has been treating clients in the substance abuse industry since 2009. Prior to her joining Hill Country Detox, she was the nurse coordinator with The Right Step- Hill Country location. In 2016, Michelle officially joined the Hill Country Detox team, where she was responsible for building and implementing our Hill Country Detox in Texas program.
Robert Yanez, Executive Chef
Chef Robert Yanez is from Galveston, Texas. While living on the island, Chef Robert was responsible for the kitchen operation for Willie G’s Galveston. He often times created and implemented local seafood flare, into the menu, to bring about a unique dinning experience for tourist. In 2015, Chef Robert brought his creative flare and has been responsible for the dinning experience our clients receive.
Casey Campbell, RA Supervisor
Casey has been in the substance abuse field since 2013. He began is work with Nova Recovery Center as a resident advocate. During his time with Nova, Casey displayed excellent management skills and implementation of daily processes. In 2016, Casey joined the Hill Country Detox team and became an integral component during the implementation process. He was a key component during our opening phase.
