Please let us know how we can help make your trip to Hill Country Detox as easy and stress-free as possible. We are happy to help make the transition a smooth one.
When you arrive at our facility on your first day, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff and your resident advocate, detox counselor and recovery specialist. We will give you a tour of the property so you know where everything is located, including your room, the restrooms, common areas and kitchen. Our goal is to make sure you feel at home at our facility and knowing your way around the property is a big part of that. We highly encourage any questions about our detox facility or the surrounding area.
After your tour, we will help you fill out all your intake paperwork. All of the information provided will be written in a clear, concise and easy-to-read way in an effort to make this process as simple as possible. As you work to complete the forms, please feel free to ask questions. We want to make sure you and your family are well-informed about the conditions of your detox treatment as well as your personal rights while at detox.
Medical Evaluation & Detox Protocol
Your initial medical evaluation will take place within your first hour at Hill Country Detox. Once your intake paperwork has been completed, you will meet with a nurse who will perform the assessment. There is no reason to be nervous about this. The main priority of the evaluation is to determine your current health, learn a little bit about your drug abuse history and evaluate your current needs. Your detox protocol will immediately begin based on the findings of this assessment. Our medical staff will perform another in-depth personal evaluation within your first 24 hours on-site to further develop and modify your detox treatment plan.
At this point, you will be free to rest and relax. Our in-house chef will provide home cooked meals and snacks throughout your stay and if there is anything additional we can do to help you get settled into your new, temporary home, please let us know! We are proud to provide luxury accommodations for all clients in detox with us and we will do everything we can to ensure your experience here is a comfortable and safe one, filled with healing and restoration.
